The evangelicals are in a weak, broken state now. The Schiavo case exposed them as hypocrites and immoral liars who want to murder our judges and rip up our constitution. They only have power because Bush cant afford to not pander to them. But most of the reloigious right congressmen are going to get thrown out of office next year and they know it. Some 40% of evangelicals do not agree with Bush and his policies. Most christians in the country don't. This is a new era. The far right wont get away with hijacking God again.
