Environmental Solutions Worldwide Inc. Appoints John A. Donohoe, Jr. As Vice Chairman, Chief Executive Officer And President
TELFORD, PENNSYLVANIA--Environmental Solutions Worldwide Inc. (OTCBB: ESWW (ESW)) today announced that the Board of Directors approved the appointment of John A. Donohoe Jr. as Vice-Chairman of the Board. Mr. Donohoe has also been named as Chief Executive Officer and President of the Company. Mr. Donohoe replaces Bengt Odner, who had been serving as ESW's interim Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Odner will retain his position as Chairman of the Board.
Bengt Odner stated, "I am pleased that John has accepted the Board's offer to serve as Vice Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President. Mr. Donohoe had shown an excellent track record while he was with MedQuist Inc., (NASDAQ: MEDQ), serving in the role as President and Chief Operating Officer for the past seven years. His expertise coupled with the confidence he has built within the business community should provide the company with the opportunity to more aggressively implement its business plan."
Mr. Donohoe brings with him, proven leadership and a disciplined management and operational style. He has worked in various operational, administrative and management roles throughout his twenty-eight year career with MedQuist and its legacy company Transcriptions Ltd.
Mr. Donohoe stated "I am extremely excited about the opportunity to help guide ESW through the evolution of an R&D organization into becoming a production company with proven product lines, services and an established client base generating a recurring revenue stream. When I stepped down from my positions at MedQuist this past March, I did so to pursue other areas of interest and opportunities. I welcome the participation in the day-to-day operations of ESW along with the ability to address ESW's present business challenges - including the approval and acceptance of thecompany's proprietary catalyst products. I am joining the management team of ESW because I believe in the company, its mission and the positive effect that its success can have on the global environment.
