I am not familiar with "Amelie".. Your comment "marvelous movie going experience".. made me think.. I wonder if our current affairs will make people want to escape to a "marvelous movie going experience".. The movie last night sure renewed our interest in pleasant "virtual reality".. I have read that the "Great Depression" sure done that.. And thinking about it, the real birth of real movie making might have taken place then.. Before that it seemed to me , just "movin pictures"..from my limited knowledge of movie history.. Necessity is the mother of invention and all.. Bypassing the mass theatre going.. because of terror attacks.. and going straight to video and video on demand.. I don't know..Just thinking out loud.. m
