On the subject of future gorilla's: I asked for ideas a few weeks ago, specifically about high speed internet access.
I have since focused on @Home and Road Runner. Although, it seems the only time I hear about Road Runner is in the context of being acquired by @Home. I have bought @Home with the idea that it, along with MCI-Worldcom, will capture a large (lion's?) share of the internet access business. [I also purchased MCI].
Now, I'm researching the Linux operating system, and it's possible commercial opportunities. To this point, the only companies that I can find are software distribution and hardware (servers). And all of them are still private. To add frustration, every time I locate a potential company (Red Hat Software, VW Research, etc.), I find out that some large tech company has just invested heavily.
Any thoughts on Linux opportunities?
Thanks in advance,
