Pardon the cryptic nature of this communication, but we are prohibited from making any public statements regarding the Kentucky drug diversion monitoring pilot project to validate our provisionally-patented Verified Prescription SafeguardsTM system until a signed contract is in hand. Despite the notice on the Kentucky website (https://ky-purchases.com/servlet/KYECServlet?object=ViewAwards&action=show&main=yes) posted July 30, 2003. We have yet to receive a copy of the executed agreement for the project.
You are, however, kind reader, completely free to read between the lines.
One note of explanation regarding the entity awarded the contract, VPS Holding, LLC:
Equity Technologies & Resources, Inc. and it’s subsidiary, Verified Prescription Safeguards, Inc., assigned all intellectual property rights to our VeriscripTM prescription drug monitoring system for controlled substances to VPS Holding, LLC, a Kentucky limited liability company of which I am president and CEO.
In anticipation of development and funding for the Verified Prescription SafeguardsTM system, VPS Holding, LLC, entered into an Agreement with Envoii Healthcare, LLC, and subsequently with Envoii Pharmacy, LLC. In the absence of any contracts or funding for the project, this was the only viable alternative available. Since Envoii has been pursuing similar technology in the healthcare industry, it was practical and prudent to partner with the Envoii Pharmacy technology. The manner in which the funding and technology development issues have been structured will beneficially protect both the creditors and the stockholders of Equity Technologies & Resources, Inc., and Verified Prescription Safeguards, Inc.
This has been a long road, and many more miles lie ahead until we reach our goal. But a significant step has occurred. We thank each and every one of our loyal and supportive shareholders who have kept the faith, stayed the course, and — we firmly believe — will be rewarded.
