This should be a simple debate. Do you believe that 'Benny and the Feds' will do the right thing and reduce liquidity or will the political pressures to keep the party rolling along win out. The stock market thinks the party continues, the bond market thinks it should have ended already. I ignore everything the Fed says and pay attention to what they do and since August they have been flooding the world with dollars.( jee, when did the stock market rally start?) The recent bounce back in Gold tells me it is warning the Feds to stop or here comes 1000 dollars and beyond. It is Benny's move and my guess is he will continue to try to have his cake and eat it too. Too early in the game to make a big bet.
