Carl, I appreciate your comments and agree with you. You had asked about other books. Here are a few that I like for a big picture perspective. Jim Davidson and lord Rees Moog "The Great Reckoning" make a compelling case for a deflationary depression. William Greider "One World Ready or not " argues that a depression is possible but not likely . I like his examples he uses to argue there is a surplus of labor in the world competing for a limited Number of jobs and the examples of excess manufacturing capacity. Both should be available in the library. One final book is Christopher wood's "The Bubble Economy" about the Japanese bubble economy. Mike
