Paul - Re: "Concerning shorting
There may be better stocks to short but shorting Intel is like shorting the Tech sector. I picked it because I felt it was grossly overvalued when I shorted it, less so now than when I picked it.
As to trading, I use a reliable broker with a track record of proven execution---Siebert. I put my orders in verbally not through the Internet before trading starts for the day. I had no trouble getting through to a broker today. I use the Internet for real time information but not for trading. Execution is more important than cheap commisssions."

CONGRATULATIONS - It sounds like you waited all this time UNTIL today to short Intel - since you placed your short order before the bell, it must have gone off!

I guess that leaves you about $10 under water as of the closing bell!

Keep up the good work - and EXCELLENT TIMING. You may be the one to have shorted Intel at its lowest point!

Couple this loss with your Novell position and you will have a substantial tax write-off!

You sure can pick 'em!

Paul
