Great post, nestegg. I agree fully. The FDA is fraught with problems. And MANY reforms are needed. However, bureaucracy will never be entirely eliminated from government organizations, IMO, since ultimately the main goal of a bureaucracy becomes to preserve its existence and resources.

So I guess we will have to bumble along doing the best we can. While children and adults die and suffer. But your suggestions would certainly help IF we could get them implemented. Perhaps in time...
