Files and settings transfer wizard question:

I have 4 computers that I transferred the files and settings to a Mobiledisk 55 GB drive. The mobiledisk is hooked up to the USB port on each computer in turn. Each computer has its own folder on the Mobiledisk into which all their files and settings go.

I just noticed on the 4th computer is compressing all the folders on the mobiledisk as part of its procedure to transfer the 4th computer's stuff.

My question: Are the settings from the other three computers which are stored on the mobiledisk becoming part of the 4th computer's settings and files?

If so, it appears that the 4 computers are contaminated with other computers files and settings. Is this so?
