In "killer" I meant a product that has no real competition at the current time or foreseeable future. These products must have near unlimited potentials, and that they will not be easily replaced by anything else. Examples of such killer products are the Palm OS, Windows OS, and CDMA IPs. Besides the Palm OS, anything that 3Com makes, other do too. Even if no one else is making it, there is very little entrance barrier for competition. 3Com's future lies in home networking, wireless networking, and small to medium enterprise networking. Is there a single product that fits my definition of "killer" product?
