dj, mu is lining up the suckers now. first off, 64 mb moving to $8 when your net cost is much higher is nothing to brag about in a press release. this company is desperate to put this kind of crapola out. yeah, everyone will be putting 200% more memory in their sub $1k boxes in 4 months. geez, every time kip blowhard opens his mouth, slime comes out. he says demand remains strong in the midst of the worst price collapse in the history of dram. mu says they "think" (can they??? ;-) korea is out of inventory last january as dram plummets another 50%+ in a couple months. now he says that their customers will avg 96 mb of dram. who on this board wants to bet that 90+ mb of dram aren't put in boxes AND mu makes a profit? any suckers? uh, i mean takers ;-) they are trying to get the suckers in before the approaching disaster. watch how hard they say "pricing is going up" while neglecting to say "we're still losing money at CURRENT prices."
