Predicated on the aforementioned post valuation pricing, Palm would have a market cap as high as $24 billion. This is based on the following parameters, 570 million shares at $42 a share.

If you valued 3Com post IPO you would be hard pressed not to at least ascribe $10 billion. With an impending buyout, $5 billion in liquid assets, $5 billion in sales and a repertoire of patents in the Emerging markets of LAN telephony, VoIP, Home Networking, Broadband and Wireless, how could we not value it for at least $10 billion. I think I am being conservative.

Based on the above we would have a combined value of $34 billion. That would translate into $100 a share.
