Javelyn: Thanks for the data. As always your comments are cogent, and directly to the point in the style I've come to associate with your name. It validates everything I've found which indicates that by end of 1999 this market sector will be well underway, with all the usual maneuvering for position you'd expect from N number of players attempting to carve out a niche.
So yes it is IMPERATIVE VLNC hit, or better, their milestones. Now's the time and there ain't much room left for errors. The only caveot I'd throw into the mix is the Japanese economic situation continues to go from bad to worse, with more and more of their major banks in desperate shape(see some recent articles in The Economist for their read of the situation), so who know's how that'll affect things.
Bottom line? The horses are coming 'round the final turn and heading for home. And what'daya know!?! VLNC is right in there amongst the head of the pack, despite massive stumbling out of the gate!! Who'da thunk this 2 years ago, eh!?!!! Let's just hope they don't stumble now 'cause if they do they, and all us longs, are gonna get trampled. Heh!
On a parenthetical aside, if you've access to some of the MIT "stuff" going on right now you should look into some of the complete plastic battery R&D they're doing. Pretty interesting. Not to mentioned the bio-lab's on a micro-chip stuff. I tell ya, the future just keeps getting more-n-more interesting.
Regards!
