You aren't barking up the wrong pear tree Partridge, MCAFs infamous quality problems have been featured in PC Week among others and your personal observations confirm this garbage-ware factory isn't a competitive factor going forward. Can anyond confirm that the CEO sold 100% of his holdings last week? The company rose to prominence by hyping the Michelangelo virus which never really materialized and some suspected they had something to do with it. Shortly thereafter, they were ordered by the courts to cease selling their product because of numerous false positives.

SYMC has a clear and present opportunity to capitalize on MCAF's shortcomings however they need to stay focused. The litany of products you cited is in fact as much of a problem as it is a benefit, they need to focus and not end up like QDEK.
