Jim,

I lost all of my bets on the All Star game tonight. My wife asked me if it was fixed fir me to lose. I looked at her a little silly, explaining the difference between my $20 worth of bets and the actual game.

AOL is like this a little. There are too many players to cause a fix of the proportions you espouse. I believe that there are those who can affect her and those that can't. The current pushes the ship to her direction and succeeds a little bit, the captain is smart and steers to compensate ... the market has no wheel, but she will still press on as she sees fit and will be bullied to some extent by the current (in AOL's case a large extent due to the large short position, but still not completely). The key here is to know when the wind will change!!!!! BIG PROFITS THEN.

I may consider a ST straddle purchase on AOL due to its volatility. If I look at August, there is enough time to profit greatly on both sides of the 65 contract the way this stock moves. Your or anyone's thoughts?
