DiviCom Establishes Four Offices in China;Delivering Resources to Address Rapidly Expanding

BEIJING, China--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 24, 1999--DiviCom, Inc., a wholly-owned C-Cube
Microsystems CUBE subsidiary and the leading provider of open solutions for digital television, today announced
the expansion of its Asia-Pacific presence with the opening its first sales offices in China. The four new offices are
located in Beijing, Chengdu, Shanghai and Shenzhen.

The new offices will target the growing needs of digital broadcasting market in the region. DiviCom will concentrate
its efforts in four main market segments including satellite, digital cable TV, contribution and distribution, and digital
terrestrial TV broadcast.

Establishment of the new offices is designed to increase the effectiveness of DiviCom's sales channels and
strengthen support services in China. DiviCom has appointed two new regional sales managers for China
responsible for working directly with customers, providing consultation and management on all projects. DiviCom's
direct presence will enable it to create and deliver flexible, integrated, end-to-end solutions for China's newest
digital service providers.
