Nah, 'corporate pork' (special tax preference items giving unfair economic advantage to one firm or industry over others, direct government subsidies, tariffs targeted to benefit specific firms or industries at the expense of consumers, etc.) is well in excess of $220 B. per year.

If one adds in free tax break for stock options grants (allowing firms to totally skip paying taxes by taking a 'compensation expense' for options grants... that they don't have to declare as a real expense to shareholders) than the cost of corporate pork is even higher.

WE SHOULD ELIMINATE ALL THE LOOPHOLES AND 'SPECIAL TAX PREFERENCE ITEMS' AND THEN LOWER CORPORATE TAXES BY THE EXACT SAME AMOUT WE SAVE FROM CUTTING THE PORK... THUS PUTTING EVEYONE ON THE SAME LEVEL PLAYING FIELD.
