Question to thread: Folks, just kind of curious if you have a certain daily profit target in mind when daytrading? For me as I view this as a full time job, I try and average at least $500 a day trading, this works out to about 10g's a month and 120 a year. A pretty good salary for being your own boss. I am not really concerned about daily flucuations in this, but I try and keep my monthly profits at at least this level. As I go into each day, I am looking for 1-3 trades that can net me about $500. Lately its been great as some overnight gaps have paid off big time and I have had days where I have made 10 times that, but the $500 is a target that I like to make everyday strictly intraday trading. Just kind of curious of some of you have this outlook as well, or if I am alone in the wilderness on this one (wouldn't be the first time....he,he). Regards.....SG :)
