"In the third quarter, the company also continued a surface exploration program in the Lac des Iles region consisting of detailed prospecting, overburden removal, mapping and bedrock sampling. The Lac des Iles, Tib Lake and Buck Lake properties were systematically prospected with over 3,000 samples collected. This activity resulted in the discovery of 15 new PGE occurrences. Fourteen of these occurrences are within the Lac des Iles complex, including the highest assay value of 22.92 g/t Pd from a sample taken 2 km east of the existing minesite. "East of the South Roby pit extensive overburden removal as well as mapping and sampling has delineated new mineralization which has the potential to increase the Roby Zone resource."
