>massive gross margins All software companies have massive gross margin. So? It's incorrect to use gross margin as a proxy for profitability. They're not the same. Gross margin doesn't account for the massive investments in R&D (for software) or CapEx (for hardware) necessary to achieve them. A pedantic point, perhaps, but one in one which a surprising number of tech investors are ignorant of.
