The good news is that the scan showed no virus. The bad news is that when I disconnected the DSL and then reconnected 1. the rocket ship icon was still a white box with a red X in it, and 2. I got the big window that starts our Internet Explorer Script Error...line 91 char 1 etc... The ominous sound is gone for now. What do you think, restore or not? Any way to fix the script error? Reinstalling I.E. didn't fix it. Thanks. Wayne
