Safe Excel Macros

WindowsXP with OfficeXP

I need an Easy way to get Digital Signature to make my macros safe

Every time I open my Excel Files I am asked if I want to load the macros I made myself for common tasks. They have some complicated instructions on how to get certificates from some pay sites which seems rather odd.

Some of my macros open for all Excel files and some are specific to the workbooks. Both ask the question.

I should be able to tell Excel macros I write myself are safe and to always trust them.

Is there a set of simple instructions around telling how to do this?

Thanks
