Meck; When ADSL, and also WLL ( wireless local loop ) come out, and
both are coming, it will wipe AOLs IP bussiness clean out and she
will be forced to compeat on a level with YHOO..or EXCITE..no one
in their right mind would take a modom dial up over a direct
hook with the phone co via ADSL..but I really like the idea of
WLL, and see it as the eventuall winner in ISP service to the
regular consumer..corperate Cos will eventually have mostly ISPN,
or T1 hook ups.
Can AOL compeat with YHOO , or the new CNET "SNAP", or the MSN
for free..as her days as a ISP are for sure numbered..no way
she can compeat in that area a year from now without losing
tons of money. The profit margin is not there now, and it's getting
less by the month.
