Andrew: I promised that I would no longer criticize the stock, unless challenged, since so many are long. You ask a fair question, however, so I feel obligated to give my reasoning to you without, hopefully, being critical of the company.
In response to your request for the basis of my opinion, I would indicate that it is primarily based on the trend of the trading since, in my opinion, until VIAGRA proves or disproves itself, the post 6 month from now fundamentals of VVUS remain of unknown quantity.
From a trading standpoint, again, in my opinion, one only has to look at the charts(as opposed to the market in general) to see where the trend is. When was the last time VVUS CLOSED 21 9/16 bid?
