I said a couple of years to be on the safe side. I have been in a few PPM's that took less than a yr before their IPO. What is your general view of Private Placements? Good or bad? I know many people who love them and then I know many who were scammed on new high growth
companies that raised cash, paid their executives high and then filed
for bankruptcy. Overall though, I feel if you do some research, there is a tremendous amount of money to be made in these emerging
companies. The problem that I have faced is that when some IPO, my stock is restricted under Regulation 144 for a year. Have you faced any of these problems? How do you find your Private Placements? Do you have a broker that brings them to you or do you find them pretty much on your own?
