Hands down worst discount broker in Canada has to be Scotia Discount! I have accounts with Investorline and Action Direct, and compared to SD they're actually respectable. Try this on for size (especially those who use SD internet broker), I have 2 orders and March 2, 1 order from March 6 still PROCESSING (ie: stuck in the system). In the meantime I can't change or modify them or enter new trades for those securities (meanwhile, one the orders was a sell that would have been filled but you guessed it the stock has just tanked). To top it off, you cannot even get through to a person as SD in Calgary as the trading line just rings busy all day now. The one time I was able to get through to someone, they were no help whatsoever, as they said they would send a query to the internet order desk. Its been 2 days and still no action. Just cannot daytrade with an outfit like that. SG :(
