ATCHISON, Kan., Oct 4, 2001 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Atchison Casting Corporation (NYSE: FDY chart, msgs) today announced that its Atchison Steel Casting & Machining Division (ASCM) has signed a multi-year agreement with GE Transportation Systems (GETS) for the supply of locomotive undercarriage trucks used on several models of GETS locomotives. The agreement covers current domestic and export trucks and tooling design. The value of the agreement was undisclosed. "Our ASCM Division has a long history in the design, casting and machining of locomotive products. Atchison has developed a process for cast steel locomotive trucks which provides value for our customers in terms of delivery, quality and service that differentiates us in the international foundry community," according to John R.
