Star Navigation signs marketing deal with Russell Adams

2005-08-04 14:53 ET - News Release

Mr. Hilary Vieira reports

STAR NAVIGATION SIGNS LETTER OF INTENT WITH RUSSELL ADAMS -- AVIATION AND DEFENSE

Star Navigation Systems Group Ltd. has signed a letter of intent (LOI) with Russell Adams Ltd., a company based in the United Kingdom. The LOI enhances co-operation in the joint marketing and sale of each company's respective product lines. This new relationship will also allow both companies to advance the development of new and enhanced complementary product offerings.

Russell Adams Ltd. is a system integrator dealing with information technology (IT) for the aviation and defence industries. With offices in Europe, the Middle East and Australia, Russell Adams has been providing its services for 18 years to over 70 aviation customers around the world.

"This relationship with Russell Adams not only provides Star the opportunity to accelerate its goal for worldwide market penetration of its ISMS product (the in-flight safety monitoring system), it also sets the stage for the development and marketing of new aviation technological product offerings. We now have an association with a worldwide IT aviation company with over 70 international clients, all of whom potentially could become Star customers. This opportunity for Star is tremendous," said Viraf Kapadia, chairman and chief executive officer. Star is in discussions with Airlines operators worldwide for the sale and installation of its in-flight safety monitoring system.
