Syncronys Softcorp To Introduce Five New Products At Comdex/Fall
SoftRAM3.0, Burn It!, CD Speedster (PC), CD Speedster (Mac) and Eye Catcher Will Bring to Eight the Number of Company Products in the Market by Christmas
CULVER CITY, Calif., Nov. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Syncronys Softcorp today announced it will introduce five new products at the Fall Comdex Show in Las Vegas beginning November 18 and has already received purchase commitments for the first four to ship from leading distributors Ingram Micro and Tech Data. The Company will maintain a strong presence at the week-long show with a large booth located at the Sands Convention Center, street level, booth number S-7119, which will feature continuous product demonstrations for distributors, retail buyers, consumers and investors.
In addition to RAM Charger, MacAccess and WinKrypt, already in distribution, Syncronys will introduce:
SoftRAM3.0. This PC performance utility boosts and monitors systems, and compresses RAM, improving and enhancing Windows 3.1, Windows 95, and CD-ROM performance. The product is completed and scheduled for shipping in December following external verification testing.
Burn It! A graphically enriched, enhanced file deletion utility for Windows 95 and Macintosh System 7x that uses one of several selected animated sequences to not only delete your file, but overwrite the sector multiple times effectively barring its retrieval. Burn It! is scheduled for shipping approximately Nov. 25.
CD-Speedster for PC (completed), and CD-Speedster for Mac (full, advanced beta version). Both products increase speed and performance of CD-ROMs, under Windows 95 and 3.1, and under Mac System 7. Targeted to burgeoning multimedia markets, they incorporate proprietary caching technology to improve responsiveness on video clips and interactive games and to speed up CD-ROM reference searches. PC version to ship at month end; Mac version in early December.
EyeCatcher. A versatile Windows 95 software program that turns a video or PC camera into a motion-detection security system providing instant, real-time fax and e-mail "alert" delivery and/or replay of recorded images triggered by pre-programmed cues or timing. EyeCatcher to ship in early December.
