Jump to first matched term CHICAGO, June 11 (Reuter) - U.S. Robotics Corp said Wednesday its shareholders approved its merger with 3Com Corp with 58 percent voting in favor of the deal. During a meeting of shareholders here, U.S. Robotics also said 3Com stockholders have cleared the deal. The deal was valued at $8.5 billion and was expected to close Thursday, June 12, the company said. Under terms of the agreement, U.S. Robotics shareholders receive 1.75 shares of 3Com for each U.S. Robotics share.
