Gov'ts likely to fail in developing countries. Look at SL. Now look at how many other countries are following a similar path. Look at the JPM EM Sovereign Bond ETF- that seems like a perfect short with inflation and war.

Again, I think I'm obsessed with insurance markets. Does anyone know how to read statutory filings? They're very hard work and I don't really know what I'm looking for. I'm just digging. I could be wasting my time reading Schedule D's etc. but there aren't any experts online. Nor can I find any books that take me through valuing insurance markets.

Atm, I'm looking at Metlife and the Progressive Corporation. PGR really confuse me. In their 10Q's and 10K's they make statements and comments I've never seen in any other regulatory filings. For example, they give names to different types of customers (Robinsons, Sams etc). Maybe it's just me but I find it bizarre.

Thanks for reading,
Harsh
