Microsoft Rhapsody.

via MacWeek

>Consider how attractive Rhapsody could be for Microsoft. Following up
on their new-found corporate friendship, Microsoft and Apple could
announce a partnership to develop Rhapsody for Intel, with Microsoft
selling it as an "upgrade" to Windows, and Apple getting licensing fees.
Under this scenario, Windows 2000 is Rhapsody. It offers Windows users
a growth path that costs Microsoft nothing in terms of OS development.
It gets Microsoft out of its predicament of having a single CPU provider,
since it puts it squarely on PowerPC. And it allows the company to
concentrate on continued domination of its true core business -
applications.<
