I have both firebird .07 and firefox 0.8. I had firebird first. then downloaded firefox. they are seperate programs/browsers. one did not steal the others. I don't use either very much now, just wanted to try them out. netscape 7.1 is a more sophisticated version of either. i have the free ZA alarm running, am on cable modem. i did not have any trouble downloading or running either. larry
