Slider, thanks kindly for your thorough responses, and congrats on some great trades. I have decided that I am just too much of a positive-thinking person to short stocks other than on an occasional lark. I ended up even passing on TMR, since even though they will be putting out some of the worst F&D stats of the year on Tuesday, they are probably also gonna put out a drilling update and it appears that they have hit some more wells in their BML play.

I don't share your bearish view on oil prices, although I don't believe they will go much higher than presently either, at least for awhile. As long as the world's excess production capacity remains under 2% of the demand it seems unlikely that we would see an extended slide in oil prices due to the risks of having supply disrupted in one of the less stable exporting countries.

I am somewhat bearish on natty prices, and have trimmed down my stocks with high natty vs. oil production substantially. About the only high natty-weighted stock that I still have a significant position in is GMX Resources (GMXR), since that is a special situation (although that position is much lower than it once was).

I neither bought nor sold a share of stock yesterday, I have learned that on days like yesterday its best to just step aside and watch the show.

BTW, about your handle, are you a baseball fan (just curious)?
