My guess is they got $3 to $5 million. Although the real figure was undisclosed and we will have to wait until July to see the cash situation to make a better guess. Neog settled the case, the jury didn't rule. Vicam was up against the wall; they had gone out of their way to send threatening letters to customers not to do business with neog and as recent as in the last year, after they knew they had lost on the patent issue, they were still passing out literature at a trade show saying that they were right. I also read the U.S Middle District court in Tampa docket and IMHO it definately looked bad for Vicam. This all leads me to believe that it would have been an easy job to prove damages to the jury and that Vicam must have cried uncle and that we must have got what we wanted, and in the last conference call it was said "We won our motion that Neogen's claims for damages of several million dollars would be decided by a jury".

So my conclusion (guess) is that neog got their several million dollars.
