I've been wanting to be a NV resident for long time. It is not easy to fake it. But if you are rich enough and your personal annual income is in millions, then you can buy a house there and put in other stakes in the ground to checkmark enough boxes to qualify.

But back to the point of discussion - It is the city's bylaws that make life miserable for the lower income residents. It has nothing to do with Google, tech companies, the rich, etc. There was even a nationally followed story about a guy who quit the city hall in protest b/c the city hall members refused to pass the right bylaws in order to protect the value of their own personal properties. If the people were to vote out these lizards and change the zoning bylaws, many of the issues would be solve. For example highrises would not only solve the housing problem, but also would alleviate much of the traffic congestion.
