Marty,

A couple of questions about the Yahoo message that compares the IBM/RDRT hi density demos:

What is the source of the comparison data. Was this information published in the press or on the web pages of each respective company?

What is the source of the vignette concerning the conditions of the demo? I refer to the "terse no comment" remark.

What does the author of the post refer to when using the term reader/writer? Is this the test bed mechanics and channel? I assume that is why a term reader/writer is used (as opposed to disk drive).

This is a very informative post and I would like to get the basis references.

Many thanks,
Stitch
