I just got home from work in time to watch the blizzard.

It's coming down as hard as snow can be.
The snow blower is parked up front looking out the garage
windows, licking its big metal lips.

Gloves, boots, parka, and wooly hat hanging near the oil
burner, all toasty and waiting for the first assault on the
driveway.

I stopped by the gas station to fill up my gas can and it was
like people were in a panic. Long line at the pump and inside
their little quickie mart they were selling out of stuff.

Important stuff like beer...

cold cuts, chips, dips, Patriots banners...

It's gonna be a great weekend!
Took long enough for it to get here for me.
Been super busy and getting even more so.
A bunch of huge projects broke all at once and need to be
finished too soon.

I wonder how long it will last.

The price of material is way up.

Wire is double of what it used to cost.

I don't know how they can say there is no inflation.
Everything sure seems expensive.
A simple box of screws cost me $20.

Insane.

There's talk about Greenspan boosting the interest rate a
little.

Wonder if the market will pull back some this year.

There... That pretty much encompasses all of my thoughts
right now into one single message...

Time to light a fire.

P.S. Scoots pictures were beautifully cruel.
Bastage.

Wonder how Crock is handling those temps.

Twas minus 5 degrees at 5:30AM when I left for work.

My buttocks broke off when it hit the frigid vinyl truck seat.

A nut may be permanently enlodged way up into where ever it is
they go when it is cold like that.
