Addi, I saw your profile. You say:

And then I look at your favorite stocks:
VTSS LSI INTC CSCO JDSU MSFT GLW TXN

i.e. stocks which did well in the 90's and peaked out in 2000 and are down 70 to 90 percent or more from their highs.

The fact is, if you didn't do well enough in these to retire last year itself, your chances of retiring with their help are next to zero.
