Compaq Evo Notebook N400c -- Anytime, Anywhere Wireless Connectivity
Designed with the mobile professional in mind, the new Compaq Evo Notebook N400c, with its sleek industrial design, weighs only 3.5 pounds and measures less than an inch thin. This slim, stylish, electrifying form factor makes the Evo Notebook N400c one of the lightest, most portable notebooks in the industry, yet it still delivers the high performance -- including integrated wireless connectivity -- that you would expect to find in notebooks weighing twice as much.
The new Evo Notebook N400c incorporates MultiPort, an optional modular wireless solution, that provides Compaq commercial notebook PC users wireless connectivity through an integrated, plug-and-play Universal Serial Bus (USB) port integral to the notebook display. MultiPort modules integrate the radio and antenna into a single assembly, which then inserts and fits flush against the notebook display allowing for a clean, elegant solution with no antenna extending out of the notebook. The new Compaq Evo Thin Client T20 is a legacy-free (no serial, parallel ports or PCMCIA slots) client device that connects over a network to a server that handles all processing and storage. About the size of a paperback book, the slim, stylish Evo Thin Client T20 features either a Windows NTe or Windows CE operating system, a National Semiconductor 300 MHz processor, up to 64 MB of FLASH memory, up to 96 MB of DRAM memory and four USB ports.
