This is CJ's argument, not a straw man.

Think before you speak.

And that's because your response twisted the argument just a bit......its not just about the rich getting richer but about income distribution favoring the rich over the middle class and poor. In the last ten years, the rich have gotten richer very much at the expense of the poor and the middle classes....much more so than in years past. And that's causes all kinds of social stresses as CJ asserts. In fact, after dropping for nearly 15 years, the US crime rate started going back up in 2006 and 2007.
