No, the bars have to close at 1:00. (I've heard, 'cause that's WAY past my bedtime) Also the bars are "private clubs", where you have to pay X (usually $100 bucks) to join each year or a $5 one night membership. You have to have two lic. for beer and mixed drinks - the mixed drink lic. doesn't include the beer lic. You can only have ONE drink at a time. If you haven't finished your last drink, you can't get another until you do. And on and on. The Mormons want to discourage drinking. I'm not a big drinker, so it's okay with me. I've found 2 good Vietnamese places, no good Chinese places, one good Italian place and no good barbeque places. I've located a few good, heart clogging "American" food places with VERY reasonable prices. The place has a lot of hispanics, but I haven't found a good Mexican place yet. One really good organic vegetarian place where you pay whatever you thought the meal was worth. Most of the food is pretty mediocre to bad though. I eat out a lot, but I haven't been everywhere.
