Fundamental and technical analysis both have their place, depending on your investment objectives and style. I prefer to use both when making my investment decisions. The trick is to decide for yourself. Clearly Steve relies heavily on technical analysis to make his decisions.

Check out his home page at slip.net If you look at the WIND chart, and look back at the timing of Steve's posts, you'll see some good technical analysis in action.

I agree with you that this thread continues to have an excellent signal to noise ratio. I think Steve's impact to this ratio is a positive one.
