KC, this is the 21st Century. Only Hoover Institute, Heritage Foundation and other troglodytes advising Bush think under this frame of mind. A globalized planet, people are not warlike. They are intersted in making money. Only in the fringes, there are people left behind, in a time warp, believeing in violence as a solutoon for problems. They are being put into small and smaller corners of the world. For all practical purposes, they don't matter anymore. People have too much to lose to think in terms of pogroms. Only a few Jews milk past Pogroms to guide them today.
