Down here in La-La land I am beginning to hear many Anti-Prop 209 messages in the media. I haven't noticed as many Pro-209 messages. The anti messages have businesses and politicians all reporting the dire consequences of this proposition. Basically, they are saying that businesses and JOBS will leave the state, if they can, to avoid lawsuits. Just the kind of unnecessary govenmental interference that upsets the apple cart and creates another business paradigm. They even are saying that both Clinton and Dole both have said we ought to vote against this proposition. A non-partisan appeal! The pressure is only now beginning to build towards getting this message out. I am telling anyone I can out here to vote against it. IMHO, I don't believe this will pass. Barry in LA
