Why is timing of a CD press release important? Because we are sitting on a support level. It is entirely possible that that support level will break down and cause some technical damage to the stock. (I don't think that will happen. But it could.) If it does so any upward movement will first have to repair that damage. And some people will be shaken out before then and they will regret it. On the other hand if we get a press release I think that will easily move us out of this range and keep us out. The argument that the CD is already built into the price is wrong imo. And if true then that is bad news because it appears there isn't going to be a press release - something that many people here expected. Or not soon enough to prevent any short term damage to the stock price. When something you expect to happen doesn't happen that is not good. Yes this all short term stuff. But the stock price is based on investor confidence. And a formal announcement of the release of the CD - which is after all going to be the primary earnings generator - would help build that confidence now. Before any unnecessary technical damage is done. RS
