Gee RS, I see your point. Having hold of the elephant's tail doesn't really let you know what's going on up front.

But I'd have thought good news would be out and about. For example, NZL60 gave us a report on Darwin and Sydney and Globalstar. I got another report from a friend in Brisbane. Those reports were not too good. Well, bad.

A sample of one is good enough for me if it's all I can get. GlobalstarUSA has been dismal [to the extent of Mike Kerr leaving]. South Africa is still on hold a year after Valueman was accused instead of answered when he asked about the South African licence; the scummy person who lied to him was at fault and was instrumental in Valueman's loss of confidence in Globalstar.

A reputation is like virginity, it's hard to get it back again. Losing capital in an investment is probably a better analogy as it is possible to work one's way back over a long time.

Globalstar has got an uphill battle in the face of absurdly wishful thinking about The Plan, unpleasant comments to and lack of information for investors. Iridium doesn't help. Data is 'jam tomorrow' when they should be selling voice today and I believe another item in the wishful thinking category.

Globalstar is primarily a voice system. That's the strength of the system. Data is a nice add on for WWeb people to have a single use-anywhere device for voice and data; SCADA, IFN, WingScar etc should help but voice is the big one.

I suppose 60 MOU per month [due to the slight price drop taking G! along the price-elasticity curve] will be the average now [the few experimentalists such as Jon and other SI enthusiasts will be a smaller proportion of the subscribers which will help too].
