I run both Norton 2004 and AVG together right now....no problem with running both.

In my experience, Norton is far superior. Both have scanned my computer, but only Norton has identified and repaired a number of viruses. AVG has not reported any. Norton could not delete two viruses, but at least I know of them and where they reside. AVG does not see them.
