Pogeu, what you describe is heartbreaking and financially draining on families affected by this hideous strangling of a loved ones brain. There is no history in my family of dementia and Alzheimer's and ,, in that regard I am fortunate ,but am already feeling out my family doctor on putting me down if I choose ,,under assisted dying in Canada. It is an old concept , new laws are being written to streamline the process and is happening in Canada ,,now. Family members must be informed of your wishes ,,to achieve an humane exit ,, instead of a long miserable , draining, agony for all ,departure. |
